What if your patient has Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)?

IPF is a progressive deadly interstitial lung disease (ILD) with no known cause.¹

It causes irreversible damage to the structure of the lungs and,
once lung function is lost, it is lost forever.^1,2

Suspect IPF in patients over the age of 60 with any
combination of the following symptoms and signs^2,3,4

Dyspnea

Cough

Finger Clubbing

Velcro Crackles

Other Associated Indicator

of patients with IPF have symptoms of GERD
(gastro-oesophageal reflux disease)⁵

BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR THESE SYMPTOMS,
BECAUSE IT COULD BE MORE THAN A COUGH.
