WHEN IT IS MORE
THAN A COUGH

THESE DAYS A COUGH COULD MEAN ANYTHING - BUT WHEN IT COMES TO ILD,IT IS IMPORTANT TO SEE THE SIGNS.

WHEN IS A COUGH MORE THAN A COUGH?

What if your patient has Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF)?

IPF is a progressive deadly interstitial lung disease (ILD) with no known cause.1

It causes irreversible damage to the structure of the lungs and,
once lung function is lost, it is lost forever.1,2

Suspect IPF in patients over the age of 60 with any
combination of the following symptoms and signs2,3,4

Dyspnea

Cough

Finger Clubbing

Velcro Crackles

Other Associated Indicator

90%

of patients with IPF have symptoms of GERD
(gastro-oesophageal reflux disease)5

BE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR THESE SYMPTOMS,
BECAUSE IT COULD BE MORE THAN A COUGH.
